1. Ownership

Unless otherwise stated, the content available through DecodingEdu—including text, course materials, webinar materials, books, cases, graphics, illustrations, downloads, templates, branding, page design and original multimedia—is owned by or licensed to DecodingEdu.

The DecodingEdu name, official logo and "The Learning Algorithm" brand identity may not be copied, altered or used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or authorship without written permission.

3. Permitted limited use

Users may:

  • Access public website content for personal information
  • Share an ordinary link to a public DecodingEdu webpage
  • Quote brief portions for legitimate educational or scholarly purposes with appropriate acknowledgement, where permitted by applicable law
  • Use purchased material according to its stated individual licence

4. Permission required

Written permission is required to:

  • Reproduce substantial content
  • Republish articles or educational materials
  • Translate or adapt protected material
  • Include content in another course, book or commercial product
  • Distribute downloads to a group or institution
  • Record or redistribute webinars
  • Use the DecodingEdu logo or branded design
  • Use protected materials for commercial artificial-intelligence training, content generation or dataset development

5. Attribution

Where limited quotation is legally permitted, attribution should identify DecodingEdu, the named author where applicable, the title of the material and the original webpage or publication.

Attribution does not permit copying that would otherwise require permission.

6. User and third-party material

Copyright in material submitted by users or owned by third parties remains with the relevant rights holder. Third-party material will be used subject to permission, licence or applicable legal limitations.

7. Reporting infringement

If you believe DecodingEdu content infringes your rights, or that DecodingEdu material is being used without permission, contact [email protected] and provide:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the protected work
  • Location of the disputed material
  • Explanation of the concern
  • Evidence of ownership or authority where appropriate
  • A good-faith statement that the information supplied is accurate

DecodingEdu will review credible notices and take reasonable action where appropriate.
